This weekend went by super fast and I only managed to get one workout in. I did Bob Harper’s Strength dvd and it was great. I didn’t find it as hard as his cardio workout, but I did burn 505 calories and can already tell that I’m gonna be pretty sore in the morning.
Last week (2/28 – 3/6) I worked out for 3:37 and burned 1,577 calories. Not bad, but I didn’t work out for two days which isn’t good. They were just days where things were busy and time got away from me. I was planning to go to the gym on Friday but the rough work week caught up with me and I decided to listen to my body and get some sleep. Yeah, I feel asleep at 9pm on a Friday night.. I live a wild life indeed :]
These were my goals for the week:
Take a kickboxing class
Yep, I did it & had a blast! I’m looking forward to taking it this week as well!
2. Run 5 miles this week
Nope.. I only did 2.2. I was planning on doing 3 at the gym on Friday but feel asleep instead.
Keep my portion sizes small. I’ve been out of control lately!
I did really well with my sizes all week until my sister’s baby shower on Saturday where I had two slices of cake and some french fries. I still consider this a success because I really watched it all week.
Here are my goals for this week:
1. Do at least 3 workouts before work. I say this all the time and don’t do a one, but I’m determined this week! I’d like my weekly burn to be over 3,000.
2. Run a 5k. I didn’t hit my goal last week of running 5 miles, so I’d like to at least do a full 5k this week.
3. Walk Pepper for at least fifteen minutes each day. It’s not fair that he doesn’t get daily exercise just because the weather isn’t nice. He has a lot of energy and fifteen minutes is not a lot of time to help him get some out.
