Just a few things I’ve been loving this week…

My new mug! It’s so bright and cheery.. I just love it.

New workout dvds! I love mixing up what I do and adding to my home workout collection. I picked up Bob Harper’s Kettlebell Cardio Shred & Jackie Warner’s Power Circuit Training. I haven’t done either yet, but I will definitely review them once I do.

Snacking on hummus and pita bread. Greg brought home this really good roasted red pepper hummus and have been addicted ever since. I also love my Hello Kitty ziploc bags!

Other things that have made my week » Ezekiel English muffins, going to a spin class and loving the music & then hearing the instructor say that the new music was too weird & she wouldn’t be using it again- haha!, O.N.E. coconut water with pineapple, my rice cooker, yoga in the mornings, seeing new muscles and definition that wasn’t there before, The Roots feat. Erykah Badu – You Got Me, canned sparkling water, apples and cupcake scented candles.

  1. I *love* your mug! Why is that so important, to love the mug? But it is.

    Hey, when did you start doing home video workouts? I’ve done yoga (very basic stuff), but only for a brief time a while ago. Do you get something out of it you don’t get out of classes at the gym? Other than convenience?

    • It’s the small things :]

      I’ve done them for the longest time now. I like to have backups for when there isn’t a class I want to take at the gym or I just don’t want to get out. This week I’ve been doing these before work in the mornings so I don’t have to drive to the gym since it’s pretty far. The only strength class at the gym is the same ol’ thing every day, so I wanted to incorporate more strength training and this was a good way to do that.

    I’ve been loving retro dishes and blueberries this week. Random, I know! :)

    • I got it at Borders believe it or not! They had a lot of other stuff with that same design on it too.

      I love blueberries too! By retro dishes are you talking Pyrex and things like that? I love those!

  3. Super cute mug! I love it! Can’t wait to hear how you like Jackie Warner’s DVD…you know I like her Time Saver Training one!

    This week was so busy, I don’t know if I had time to stop and enjoy anything, but so far this weekend, I’ve been loving on some sunshine, 70 degree weather, windows up, music on, and dancing/singing at the top of my lungs while packing up the house!

    • This one moves very fast! I’ve only done upper body and core though, not the full 40 minute workout.

      I love the weather here lately! I hope packing/moving goes well! It’s so exciting (and exhausting) moving, but it’s worth it for that kitchen you’re getting! :]

    • 30DS is what I started out on! All of Jillian’s videos are really great if you’re looking for a different workout.
