Weekly Love
Just a few things I’m loving this week…
Chocolate tofu pie! This is the easiest recipe ever and I used to make it all the time, but for some reason I stopped. Sarah at Desirous of Everything asked me to do a guest post and I knew this recipe would be perfect! You’ll have to head on over to her blog to get the recipe!
Eating outside! The weather has been nice enough to sit outside and eat my lunch. It’s not too hot out and even though it has been raining off and on there is a little gazebo outside my office building where I can take my lunch to. It’s so nice to get some fresh air and out of the office.
Tofu tikka masala! I got this recipe from Priyanka at The Healthy Diary and it is delicious! I used Twin Oaks extra firm tofu and it worked perfectly in this dish. Sometimes when I buy other brands they fall apart even though they are labeled extra firm, but Twin Oaks is awesome and won’t crumble on ya.
Other things that made my week » Catching up on tv shows which include 16 & Pregnant, Secret Life of the American Teenager & Ice Loves Coco. I like ‘em trashy. Does anyone else think Coco is absolutely adorable though? I love her! /// almond butter & blackberry jam in a rolled up wheat tortilla /// long walks while it’s still light out at 9pm /// iced jasmine green tea /// Subway finally getting avocado! /// all my pants being loose (good & bad since I don’t like shopping much) /// finally cleaning the garage out /// yogurt with hemp seed granola

I completely agree that eating outside is one of the best things ever! There’s just something about sitting out in the fresh air that even makes food taste better! And thanks for reminding me that I actually love making pie with tofu! It’s something I haven’t done in forever, so I really need to get on that…
Food does taste better when you can enjoy it outside!
I hope you share some pie recipes on your blog! :]
Yum! That chocolate tofu pie does sound easy and amazing!
It’s so easy! You should definitely try it!
That last meal looks so good! I definitely need to try that recipe.
Have you ever tried TJ’s sprouted tofu? I had really good experiences with it!
It’s amazing!
Unfortunately there isn’t a TJ’s around here :[ I always get so bummed when I see awesome looking products on other people’s blogs.
i looove trashy tv! haha, i heard the original cast of 16 and pregnant is coming back, super stoked. i havent watched secret life since the first season, i need it on dvd!
They are coming back and I was way too excited for that too! hahah
oh yum that tofu dish looks incredible I love indian food!
It was awesome.. give it a try!
Just discovered your blog this week and I love it! You have the greatest food/meal suggestions, especially since it’s so easy to get stuck in a rut as a vegetarian wanting to eat healthy. Keep up the great work
Aw, thank you so much! This made my day! :]
I’d love to eat outside here! But I’ve yet to buy some outdoor patio stuff..guess I’ll have to get on that!
Definitely! Target had some really cute patio stuff last time I was in there.
I am glad you loved the tofu tikka.
I have been enjoying the warm weather and eating lunch at the Starbucks patio rather than the cold dingy rooms.
It was so good! We’re having it again this week because we loved it so much!
That patio is so fantastic to be on when it’s nice out. The rooms at UT are so depressing so I’m glad you’re able to get away for lunch!
Tofu tikka masala??? I’m pretty I just figured out what I’m eating for lunch tomorrow. You’re a genius! hahaha. Love the blog. So many great food ideas!
It’s so amazing! Next time I make it I am going to double the recipe because it was gone way too fast :]
