Weekly Love
Just a few things I’m loving this week…
Homemade Dog Treats » One of my goals this month was to make some homemade dog treats for Pepper and hope that he liked them. I used this recipe that Lindsay from Food & Do Daily told me about. They turned out awesome and he absolutely loves them. The recipe made a ton of small sized treats so we’re all stocked up. I’m not sure about the shelf life on them, but I have them in an airtight tupperware container so they should be good for awhile.
The Bulk Spices at Three Rivers Market » I love going here and getting a few of my usual spices and finding something new to try out (last time I got kelp powder & now I’m not sure what to do with it). That photo doesn’t even show it all as there are a couple of shelves underneath the counter as well.
This Playlist » I’ve been going to 8tracks and going through random playlists to find new music. There’s some really good stuff on there and this is one of my current favorites.
Other things that made my week » Upping my weight for strength class. I’m now using 10lb dumbbells.. pretty bad ass, I know haha /// the ask me anything section on Reddit /// starting Gilmore Girls from the beginning and watching while I do design work /// pizza for lunch /// taking a yoga class – it felt great to stretch for almost an hour! /// (non-extreme) couponing – it all adds up and I’ve managed to get a couple of things completely free /// The Dead Set – if you love zombies then this is the show for you!
Recipes that look amazing & I’m wanting to try! » roasted veggie & black bean baked burritos /// cheesecake stuffed strawberries via Priyanka at The Healthy Diary /// BLT salad
Have a great weekend!

Watching the entire series of Gilmore Girls is the best idea ever. Now i just need to get my hands on them!
When I first got the entire set I watched one after the other for days until it was finished.. it was so addictive! Now when I watch them all I always skip over the last season. I just can’t deal with it!
I’m so glad those treats worked out! And is it just me, or does Pepper have a look that says “Wow, my Anastasia is the *best* Anastasia!”?
They’re great! You should make ‘em for your pup too.
Haha – I’d like to think he’s looking at me that way but I really believe he’s thinking to himself “Please leave me alone so I can finish my treat, crazy lady.”
When I saw the first pic I was like “ooooh yummy! What did she make?!” Ha!
Pepper is so cute.
Haha! People can eat them too but I doubt they’d be very good :]
GG from the beginning = so many levels of epic.
Yes! Except for the last season. I refuse to watch it ever again.
Aw, I like the last season, even though it makes me sad. I was bummed though, since I never watched the show when it was on the air & my friend spoiled a lot of season 7 for me before I watched it!
I just can’t deal with it. All the characters became so awful during that season and it makes me sad haha
Love the dog treats! Will have to try those! xx
The Londoner
I hope your pup likes ‘em! :]
I want a jump rope now that you shared your routine and I am seriously going to try the black bean and sweet potato burrito from Aggie’s Kitchen. I love her site! And I will come back to yours as well. Thanks for popping in at Joy Comes In The Morning!
You can get them super cheap. I bought this Gold’s Gym one with wooden handles from Wal-Mart and it was horrible so try to stay away from that one. I ended up getting Jillian Michaels Total Body Kit for Christmas last year and it came with an awesome jump rope. It also has resistance bands and things so it was great.
